Presentation Model for Noetix Analytics in Noetix Search

Noetix Analytics for Oracle E-Business Suite (Noetix Analytics) leverages a three-tier logical architecture to separate the presentation model from the physical data model. This allows us to provide a simplified view of the data warehouse for report developers while the underlying physical structures maximize system performance.

The data warehouse consists of two main schemas/databases that contain the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Data Mart (DM) physical tables. These tables are organized into relationship sets, a logical layer that describes how the tables are related through join definitions. In the presentation tier, fields across all the tables in a relationship set are organized into field definition folders corresponding to fact and dimension tables. Fields are identified as metrics, calculated fields, attributes, and identifiers.

NOTE: Noetix Search does not display fields that are not used in a relationship set.
