NoetixViews Workbench Workflow

The following diagram illustrates the workflow of the NoetixViews Workbench:

The sequence of the steps for the NoetixViews Workbench workflow is explained as follows:

  1. Run Stage 4 of the view generation process to make sure that all the existing customizations corresponding to the NoetixViews schema are updated and saved in the template tables.

  2. Register an environment in the Noetix Enterprise Manager for the NoetixViews schema in which you want to add custom views or modify existing views with the use of the

  3. Select the environment corresponding to the NoetixViews schema that you want to use in the NoetixViews Workbench and validate the schema credentials.

  4. Capture the legacy customizations available in the NoetixViews schema to the environment in the

  5. After capturing the legacy customizations, add custom views or modify the existing views with the use of the

  6. Save the changes made to the package in the NoetixViews Workbench repository.

  7. Stage the package to move the customized views and the legacy customizations to the

  8. Run Stage 4 or incremental regeneration to save the customizations to the template tables.
