Uninstalling the Software

Uninstall the Software from Windows

You can uninstall NoetixViews by using the NoetixViews Uninstall wizard.

To uninstall NoetixViews

  1. Click Start > All Programs > NoetixViews > Uninstall. The NoetixViews Uninstall wizard appears.

  2. On the Welcome to the NoetixViews Uninstall page, click Next to begin the uninstallation. The Uninstall NoetixViews page appears.

  3. Verify the path, and click Uninstall. The Uninstallation Complete page appears.

  4. Optionally, click Show details. The log details of the uninstallation process are displayed. Click Next when the uninstallation process is complete.

    Note: You can right-click the information displayed and click Copy Details To Clipboard to copy the information to the clipboard. Thereafter, you can save the information in a text-editing program.

  5. On the Uninstallation Complete page, click Finish. The wizard exits.

    Note: The uninstallation process removes only NoetixViews from your computer. However, the NOETIX SYS schema in the database will not be affected. Contact your system administrator to drop the schema.

Uninstall the Software from UNIX

For generation of Noetix views on a UNIX-based computer, you only need to copy the required script files to the installation directory and generate the views using those scripts. There is no component installed on the computer that needs to be uninstalled. Therefore, uninstalling NoetixViews on a UNIX-based computer comprises only deleting the Noetix installation directory in which the scripts were copied and, consecutively, the views generated.

This procedure will remove only NoetixViews from the UNIX-based server. However, the NOETIX SYS schema in the database will not be affected. Contact your system administrator to drop the schema.
