About Packages

Packages are container objects that are used for assembling custom views and legacy customizations in the NoetixViews Workbench. By default, a package is created automatically when you capture legacy customizations in the NoetixViews Workbench. The default package that is created for the legacy customizations is named as Legacy Package. However, this package cannot be used for storing customized views or new custom views. For this purpose, you have to create custom packages. Packages can be also used to move around customizations across environments. Also, packages can be staged to a NoetixViews schema folder to apply the legacy customizations along with other customizations to the NoetixViews schema.
