Suppress, Restore Queries
You can suppress or restore the Noetix-defined or custom queries.
Note: You can suppress a query only if the view contains more than one query.
To suppress, restore a query
In the NoetixViews Workbench, select a view that you want to modify. For more information, see Select a View.
On the Modify View » <view label> page, under View, select Copy, modify & suppress queries, and then select Next. The Modify View » <view label>» Copy, modify & suppress queries page appears showing the list of queries available in the view.
Select the query that you want to suppress or restore, and do the following:
To suppress a query, perform the following:
Select Suppress. The Suppress Query(s) dialog box appears prompting you to confirm the action.
Select Yes. The "Suppressed" and "State" fields of the query are updated as "Yes" and "SUPPRESSED".
To restore the suppressed query, perform the following:
Select Unsuppress. The Unsuppress Query(s) dialog box appears prompting you to confirm the action.
Select Yes. The "Suppressed" and "State" fields of the query are updated as "No" and "UNCHANGED".
In the Customization comments box, provide a summary of the customizations that you have performed. The comment can contain a maximum of 200 characters.
Select Save. The customizations are saved, and the Modify View» <view label> page appears.
Note: You can also copy, modify, or delete the query. For information about these tasks, see the respective topics under Manage Queries.
Now, you can choose to perform any other customizations on the same view or go to the home page.
