Select a View

Before you customize a view, you need to identify and select the view in the NoetixViews Workbench.

To select a view

  1. On the NoetixViews Workbench home page, click Modify a View. The Modify View page appears.

  2. In the Filter by application list, select the Oracle E-Business Suite module for the view. By default, the value "All"is selected so that all the views available in the NoetixViews schema corresponding to the environment are displayed.

  3. Do one of the following:

    1. Show only managed views: Select this option to display thelist of views in the selected module that you manage through the NoetixViews Workbench. By default, this option is selected when you log on to the application.

    2. Show allviews: Select this optionto display the list ofall views pertaining to the selected module. This option will remain selected for your current logon session.

  4. In the list of views that appears, identify and select the view for customization. The list displays the following information:

    • View Label: Indicates the name of the view.

    • Managed: Indicates whether NoetixViews Workbench customizations have been applied to the view.

    • Current revision: Indicates the number of times the view has been modified.

    • Updated date: Indicates the date on which the view was last modified.

    • Updated by: Indicates the name of the user who last modified the view.

NOTE: If multiple pages are present in the list, use the page navigation controls to navigate through the pages. In the Rows list, you can specify the number of rows that you want to see on a page; by default, the page will display 10 rows. You can use the View Label box to filter the list based on the name of the view.

  1. After selecting a view, you can perform any of the following tasks depending on your requirement:

    NOTE: You can go to the Revision History area to manage the revision history of the view. For information, see Manage View Revisions.
