Source Environment Prerequisites

Prerequisites for Angles for Oracle [Cloud, On-Premises Views]

Oracle Cloud Applications (OCA)

  • Users must to connect to the Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector Console (BICCC), extract data, and download it.

    The following table lists the permissions that are required for OCA users:

    Upload and download data from on-premise system to cloud system OBIA_EXTRACTTRANSFORMLOAD_RWD

    It is recommended that you have a dedicated user for the replication process. For example, A4O_INSIGHT. Please ensure that the user credentials, XX, are reserved for the application only.

  • Set the data extract download limit at BICCC to at least a minimum of 1 GB.

  • Default data storage for scheduled extracts should be UCM.

  • Firewall rules to be updated to allow SOAP and REST APIs related to download of the PVO data.

  • Authentication with Oracle Cloud Applications: The basic authentication method, which is local user and password-based authentication, is supported when establishing the connection with the Oracle Cloud Applications instance.
