Delete a Noetix Query User Account
You can delete a Noetix query user by using the Noetix Query User Maintenance tab of the Security Manager dialog box in Noetix Views Administrator (NoetixViews Administrator) or through scripts. The deletion process removes the Noetix roles and the security rules assigned to the Noetix query user account and then deletes the Noetix query user record.
IMPORTANT: You must have been granted the SELECT ANY TABLE and SELECT ANY DICTIONARY privileges to delete a query user.
To delete a Noetix query user
On the Tools menu, click Security Manager. Alternatively, click
on the toolbar. The Security Manager dialog box appears.
On the Noetix Query User Maintenance tab, in the Noetix Query Users list, click the Noetix query user you want to delete, and click Remove. To select multiple Noetix query users, press CTRL, and click the users.
NOTE: When you select the Noetix System Administration User (Type N) or an Oracle Administrative Database User (Type O), that is, the database logon accounts that are automatically created, the Remove button is unavailable. You can only delete Noetix query users of the Oracle E-Business Suite Authenticated User (Type A), Oracle E-Business Suite Authenticated Responsibility (Type R), and Database User (Type U) types. After you remove a Noetix query user of the Database User (Type U) type, if you want to delete the database user account also, you will need to do this manually by logging on to the database as a user with DBA privileges.
When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes. If you do not wish to delete the Noetix query user, click No.
Click OK on the Security Manager dialog box to save the changes to the database.
