Angles Hub 25.3 Release Notes

This topic describes the new features and fixed issues for Angles Hub 25.3, released in September 2025.

New Features

The new features in Angles Hub 25.3 are as follows:

Views Installation Workflow Management

This version introduces comprehensive automated view installation workflow for Oracle EBS connections. Administrators can trigger view installations that automatically follow predefined workflows including pregeneration, generation, and post-generation phases, with prerequisite verification to prevent setup issues. The system provides real-time progress monitoring with timestamped updates across all workflow stages and detailed logging for each step. Installation history tracking captures all activities with date, user, workflow results, and error details, accessible through filtered views and downloadable for analysis. Enhanced error handling categorizes issues (configuration, permissions, network) with actionable resolutions and retry capabilities to minimize downtime and administrative overhead.

Automated Primary Key and Index Creation for Replicated PVOs

Angles for Oracle now automatically creates primary keys and indexes on replicated PVOs in target databases. By leveraging metadata from Angles Hub, the replication pipeline generates and applies valid DDL during table creation, eliminating manual post-processing steps. This automation improves data warehouse query performance while providing control and visibility over the indexing process, ensuring replicated tables are immediately optimized for analytical workloads.

Automated Data Reconciliation Table for Angles Hub Transfers

This release introduces an automated solution to streamline the management of detailed reconciliation data generated during Oracle Fusion to target database transfers through Angles Hub. This enhancement creates a structured table in the target database (Snowflake, Azure, or OADW) that automatically refreshes reconciliation data at defined intervals while preserving historical records through append-only operations. It significantly reduces troubleshooting time and provides stakeholders with readily accessible reconciliation data for ongoing analysis and audit purposes.

Replication Duration Monitoring and Alerts

Angles Hub now detects and alerts users when replication processes exceed normal duration thresholds. When a replication job surpasses the configured time limit, you will receive an email notification with comprehensive in-progress job details. This proactive alerting prevents downstream escalations by enabling early detection and intervention.

Enhanced Email Alerts for Replication Package Discrepancies

This release provides an improved email alert system for replication package monitoring to provide more actionable information when discrepancies are detected. The alerts now include PVO-level source and target counts and table-specific counts. This detailed summary of record mismatches enables faster troubleshooting by providing administrators with all critical information needed to quickly identify and resolve replication issues in a single comprehensive email notification.

Restricted Viewer Read Access in Public Workspaces

Version 25.3 introduces enhanced access controls for Viewer users in public workspaces to support SOX compliance requirements. Viewer users with Read-only access can now only view existing reports without the ability to create, edit, or filter them. Viewer users with Read/Write access can apply filters to existing reports but cannot create or modify reports. This provides administrators with granular control over report access and ensures compliance with audit requirements while maintaining appropriate user functionality.

CDC Reset Timestamp Buffer Protection

This version includes enhanced Change Data Capture (CDC) pipeline reset logic to prevent data loss during overlapping timestamp windows. This enhancement prevents transitional records from falling through gaps during high-frequency operations or error-retry scenarios, eliminating silent data loss during CDC resets. The CDC process reliably captures all changes, improving overall data integrity and reducing downstream reconciliation requirements.

Oracle EBS 19c Database Support

Added support for Oracle EBS 19c databases, allowing customers to replicate data from newer Oracle environments to cloud platforms like Snowflake and Azure. The system automatically handles the technical requirements for 19c databases and ensures smooth data replication with both full and incremental updates working reliably.

Fixed issues

The fixed issues in Angles Hub 25.3 are as follows:

EBS Incremental Load Status Display for Empty Delta Extracts

Fixed an issue where EBS incremental replication remained in continuous processing when no CDC records were found, unlike OCA which properly displayed "0 records loaded." The system now correctly completes CDC processes and displays appropriate load statistics for empty extract scenarios.

[ANGO-4175]

Reconciliation Table Improvements

Fixed data tracking issues in the reconciliation table where processing time information was not updating correctly and date fields were not displaying properly in the logs. Improved column names for better clarity and added a new date field to track when replication occurred. The Elapsed Time column now clearly indicates the time taken to load the data and the Replication Date column includes a timestamp to reflect when the replication was performed.

[ANGO-4167]

Improved Filter Type Selection in Reports

Enhanced the report configuration interface to clearly distinguish between filter types. When creating reports, users can now easily identify which filter type options are specific to the Excel add-in, reducing confusion during report setup. Once the user selects filter type as parameter a text will appear stating applicable only for the excel add-in.

[ANGO-4181]

Enhanced Replication Log Messages for Oracle to Cloud Transfers

Improved log messaging for Oracle source to Azure and Snowflake target replications. Added new status messages to track delta extraction progress for EBS sources, providing better visibility in both the UI and detailed log files. Changed missing primary key notifications from failure status to warning status with improved messaging for clarity.

[ANGO-4180]

Static KFF and DFF Metadata Replication Fixes

Fixed replication failures for static KFF and DFF metadata that were encountering "no unique key found" warnings. Updated the KFF and DFF package to ensure smooth replication without errors.

[ANGO-4179]

APG0_Invoices Date Column Format Resolution

Fixed an issue where date columns in the APG0_Invoices view were displaying as text instead of proper date format, which prevented date-based filtering and caused issues in the Excel add-in. Resolved by ensuring the Query Builder loads completely before saving view changes, which properly maps data types and eliminates the need for manual date conversions.

[ANGO-3838]

Column Data Type Consistency Fixes for Oracle Cloud Applications

Fixed metadata inconsistencies where ID columns had mismatched data types between related tables, particularly in DFF and KFF views. The system now automatically detects and corrects data type mismatches in join conditions, ensuring consistent schema definitions across all metadata layers. This prevents deployment failures in Oracle Analytics Cloud and improves reporting accuracy.

[ANGO-4045]

Scheduler Tab Label Update

Updated the Create Snapshot button to Refresh Snapshot in the Scheduler tab for improved clarity and better user understanding of the function.

[ANGO-4182]

Application Registration Tab Crash Fix

Fixed an issue where the Application Registration tab would crash when no EBS connection was available due to security registration requirements mandating at least one EBS Oracle connection. Users can now successfully register Data Source Applications for non-Oracle and OCA replicated targets.

[ANGO-4185]

Report Query Tab Interface Improvements

Removed the SQL switch from the report query tab and made SQL query and columns criteria tabs visible by default for Oracle reports.
