Manage users in Angles for Oracle
To manage users in Angles for Oracle, perform the following:
Create Users and Assign Licenses in Platform
This topic describes how to add a user and assign an appropriate license to the user.
-
Go to insightsoftware Platform and create users by choosing one of the following options:
Select the plus sign (+) on the sidebar and select Add.
-
Go to Users on the sidebar and select Create User.
Note: Only Account Managers can see the Users icon on the side navigation bar.
On the Create User dialog, enter a First Name, Last Name, and Email. The email serves as the username.
Optionally, create or edit or remove users and assign or unassign product licenses by selecting Account Manager toggle.
Optionally, select the Assign checkbox to grant license type to the users.
-
The four types of licenses are as follows:
Administrator
Designer
Power User
Viewer
Note: License types are based on the product and some products do not use all four license types. If you do not select a license type, the user will be able to sign in but cannot access any applications.
Optionally, clear Send registration email checkbox if you want to send the registration email to the user later. For example, when the account manager is adding multiple users in bulk but does not want to send notifications.
Select Create User.
-
When you add new users, the Users page displays all the users added to the account and the activation statuses of users accounts such as Pending or Active.
Note: The Account Manager can create multiple users at once. For more information, see Import Bulk User in Manage Users.
For other information, such as filter users, edit users, and remove users, see Manage Users.
