System Requirements

The system requirements for Angles for Oracle-Views are as follows.

Note: Make sure that you have the latest service packs and updates for Angles for Oracle-Views 26.1 and related products.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for installing and using Angles for Oracle-Views 26.1 is Angles for Oracle-Views (Global forms of the views) of Version 7.1 or later.

Server Computer Requirements

The following table lists the hardware requirements.

The software requirements are as follows:

• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS): 10, 8.5, or 8.0

  Note: We recommend you enable Web Deploy and WebSocket Protocol in IIS.

• Web browser: Google Chrome 79.0.3945.130 or later
• Oracle client software: Version 11.2 or later, including SQL*Plus and Oracle Data Provider for .NET (ODP.NET)

  Note: We recommend Oracle client software version 12C. The bitness of the Oracle client must match with that of the operating system. The TNS ADMIN environment variable must be set to the location of the tnsnames.ora file.

• PostgreSQL Database: Version 16.8
• ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0: Go to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/ > Downloads > All .NET Core downloads > ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0.x - Windows x64 Installer
• ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0: Go to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/ > Downloads > All .NET Core downloads > ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0.x -Windows Hosting Bundle
• Elasticsearch 6.8.23 (available as a part of the Angles Hub software installer)

  Note: Install a compatible Java (JRE) and make sure the environment variables (JAVA HOME and PATH) are updated correctly to avoid installation issues.

Client Computer Requirements

The software requirements for Angles for Oracle-Views 26.1 are as follows:

• Web browser: Google Chrome 79.0.3945.130 or later
• BI Tools: Microsoft Power BI Desktop 2.79 or later, Tableau 2020.2.0 or later
• Microsoft Excel: Microsoft Excel 2019 or later

• Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, or Windows 11
• 64 bit
