Create Public View Objects (PVOs)

To create Public View Objects (PVOs), sign in to Angles Hub and perform the following:

  1. Select Connection Manager. The Connections page is displayed.
  2. Select the dropdown icon next to the OCA connection for which you want to add a PVO, and select Manage PVOs. The Manage PVOs page is displayed.
  3. Select Actions and select one of the following options:
    1. Add PVO: To add a single PVO.
    2. Add Bulk PVO: To add multiple PVOs at once.
  4. If Add PVO is selected, provide the following details and select Extract Metadata.
    1. Data Store Name: Enter the name of the subject area or analytics module as it appears in your Oracle Cloud Applications (OCA) environment. For example, Oracle Financial Analytics or Award Funding Source.
    2. Table Name: Enter the name of the specific table within the data store that you want to extract and replicate to the target. This is the actual table name as it exists in the OCA environment. For example, Customer Account or Award Funding Source.
    3. Prefix: Enter an optional prefix to be added to the table name in the target database. This Manage PVOs is useful to differentiate or categorize tables when they are replicated to the target schema. For example, AP (Accounts Payable) or GL (General Ledger).
    4. Offerings: Select the specific subset or product within the selected module from which you want to extract PVOs.
    5. Modules: Select the functional area or category within Oracle Cloud Applications from which you want to extract PVOs.
    6. Schema: Select the schema where the data needs to be stored.
  5. If Add Bulk PVO is selected, provide the following details and Select Extract Metadata.
    1. Offering: Select the specific subset or product within the selected module from which you want to extract PVOs.
    2. Ship Content: Select Ship Content if you want to include customizations applied at the BICC level, such as custom columns or primary keys.
